We warmly welcome international media to the World Gymnaestrada 2015 Helsinki, to report and document the atmosphere of the worldwide Gymnastics for All event, and to be part of the Gymnaestrada spirit.
We hereby invite all the interested media to apply for media accreditation for the 15th World Gymnaestrada 2015 Helsinki. Accreditation is mandatory. Without the media accreditation card, it will not be possible to access the media zones in the performance halls and grandstands at the 15th World Gymnaestrada.
Television companies and others, who would like to have a filming permission at the 15th World Gymnaestrada, please contact and apply for media accreditation at firstname.lastname@example.org
Television companies have a possibility to get access to the signal provided by the Host Broadcaster Yle, acquire the rights, discuss the production assistance with Yle or accredit with their own production crew for the event.
Other media representatives we kindly ask to request their media accreditation through FIG online Media Manager tool: https://media.fig-gymnastics.com/
Media accreditation will be granted to individuals who represent media organisations (including written press, radio commentators and photographers). Freelance media will be required to provide evidence that they are on assignment from a media organisation (Letter duly signed and stamped by the editor to be sent to email@example.com).
The deadline for Media Accreditation applications is June 17, 2015.

Finnish Broadcasting Company (Yle) will act as the Host Broadcaster for the World Gymnaestrada 2015 Helsinki. According to the Host Broadcasting contract, state-of-the-art TV production in HD quality will be offered of:
- the Opening Ceremony
- the National Evening of the Nordic Countries
- Gymnastics (group) performances from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Iceland
- Midnight Sun Special –evening
- Large Group Performances from Denmark, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia and Switzerland
- the FIG Gala
- Selected groups from Australia, Austria, Canada, Chile, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Israel, Japan, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland and USA
- 10-minute highlights package each day
The signals will be made available for international distribution via the Eurovision Network.

The World Gymnaestrada 2015 Helsinki is a seven day lasting non-competitive gymnastics festival which will gather together 21,000 participants from more than 50 different countries in Helsinki. The event will start on July 12th and end on July 18th and is in terms of international participants the biggest event ever held in Finland. This worldwide Gymnastics for All event authorised by International Gymnastics Federation is a organised every four years and attracts the largest number of active participants of any FIG event. The 15th World Gymnaestrada is organised by the Finnish Gymnastics Federation with the cooperation of the City of Helsinki and the Ministry of Education and Culture.
