Technopolis’ coworking network, UMA Workspace, is expanding full force. Four new spaces will open in 2019 and 2020 – and more will follow. Technopolis is entering a new market, and opening an UMA Workspace in downtown Warsaw, Poland. Two new UMAs will open in Stockholm, Sweden: one in the trendy Södermalm area in downtown Stockholm and another in Solna Strand’s vibrant business hub. In addition, another UMA Workspace will open in Keilaniemi’s attractive business hub in Espoo, Finland.
Expanding the UMA network is an essential part of Technopolis’ strategy. The aim is to have at least 20 UMA Workspaces in the biggest cities of the Nordic and Baltic Sea region by the end of 2020. Technopolis already has UMAs in downtown Helsinki, Stockholm and Copenhagen. In December 2018, one will open in downtown Oslo and one in Helsinki in the Kalasatama district.
“Our UMA expansion is really taking off now and we will continue to grow the network aggressively. We are excited to enter the rapidly developing market in Warsaw. It’s dynamic. It’s international. And there is a lot of demand for modern, efficient and flexible workspaces. We are happy to get our foot in the door there,” says Keith Silverang, CEO of Technopolis.
“Our presence in both Stockholm and Helsinki metropolitan area is also starting to scale up with three UMAs in very central and strategic locations in both of these metropolitan areas,” Silverang continues.
Empowering People with Freedom and Flexibility
UMA is designed to meet the rising demand for flexibility, efficiency and service by offering premium shared workspaces in central locations with all the needed services ranging from state-of-the-art digital solutions and modern conference rooms to specialty coffee and networking events. Members get access to all of these spaces and services in the network with a single membership.
“We are thrilled to launch these four new UMAs, which all have superb locations with a lot of services and other businesses around them. The demand for professional and high-quality workspaces with extremely flexible terms is very strong and growing in all of these markets,” says Technopolis’ Service Director Niko Pulli.
“Our growing network will bring efficiency and flexibility to customers’ daily lives in a very concrete way. For example, in the Helsinki or Stockholm metropolitan areas our members can pick the best location to spend their day from three options in different parts of the city and always count on the quality and standards of the workspace regardless of the location they will choose. This is the kind of flexibility and freedom that helps companies to attract and keep the best talent,” says Pulli.
