The transmission reliability in 2020 was 99.99995%, which is the best result in the company's statistical history.
The transmission reliability percentage describes the energy transmitted for consumption in the grid in relation to the energy that can be transmitted. The volume of electricity not transmitted for consumption due to disturbances was 37 MWh.
The effects of the disturbances on Fingrid's customers were very small. The number of power supply interruptions (≥ 30 s) due to disturbances per connection point was only 0.07. Disturbances caused an average only half a minute time with no electricity on connection points. This is the shortest duration ever.
The calculated economic damage for consumer customers caused by disturbance outages was 3.2 million euros. This is clearly the lowest figure ever.
The energy not received from power plant production to the national grid was 116 MWh and the calculated economic damage of the energy not received was 3 480 euros.
