Jussi Lehto has been appointed new CEO of Fennovoima’s main owner Voimaosakeyhtiö SF. Lehto is a member of the board of Voimaosakeyhtiö and CEO of the Finnish energy company Keravan Energia. He will also continue as the CEO of Keravan Energia.
“Fennovoima’s nuclear power plant project is proceeding towards construction. Therefore it was decided that also Voimaosakeyhtiö SF, representing the Finnish owners of the project, need new leadership skills and resources. From now on the focus of Voimaosakeyhtiö will move from attracting new owners to supporting the progress of the project”, Pertti Laukkanen, Chairman of the Voimaosakeyhtiö Board states.
The previous CEO Elina Engman does not continue working for the company.
