The regular looking liquid package contains berry juice, but it also packs a multimedia AR-experience that cannot be seen with the naked eye. When the back of the package is scanned with the free Zappar-application, interactive digital content is overlayed on top. The AR-experience tells about the manufacturing process and the features 3D-miniature worlds as the main content. In addition to detailed 3D-models, the AR-experience includes soundscapes, video, a 360-photo, explosion diagrams and regular textual information. The package is developed together with Stora Enso, a leading provider of renewable solutions in packaging, biomaterials, wooden constructions, and paper globally.

flyAR Augmented Reality Studio’s team took part in an innovation challenge organized by Industryhack in the spring of 2017. The challenge, Hack the Pack, was to come up with new ideas for packaging. The winning idea was flyAR’s storified AR-package solution that eventually evolved into what may well be the most versatile AR-package in the world.
