A market leader trampoline company ACON carried out an extreme trampoline stunt in which the jumps reached the sky – literally.
The stunt was carried out in the city of Klatovy in Czech Republic on the 20th of March. The ACON team hauled the trampoline to a height of 1580 meters (5183 feet) with a hot air balloon.
At the world record height, a specially trained unit of professional sky divers climbed down to the trampoline which was placed under the basket of the hot air balloon. They performed a few front- and backflips before bouncing off the trampoline into a freefall.
The stunt team consisted of professional sky divers and film makers from Finland, Austria and Czech Republic. ACON has verified that their stunt was unique. Also the Guinness World Records has been contacted regarding the stunt.
– This was a spectacular experience, something we had dreamt of for years, says Marko Manninen, vice president and head of sales and marketing for ACON.
– Only the sky is limit when you want to fulfill your dreams, he smiles.
ACON has filmed trampoline stunts in other breathtaking locations too, including the fell areas of the Finnish Lapland and the bottom of the sea in Greece. With these videos, ACON wants to inspire trampoline jumpers all over the world to challenge their imagination and seek thrills.

Tricking on trampolines has been trending significantly in recent years. The sport named as GTramp (from garden trampoline) combines trampoline jumping and tricks inspired by skateboarding and parkouring.
ACON estimates that globally, there are over 350 000 gtrampers. Especially children at primary school age are interested in the sport due to the impressive tricks and the strong sense of community. Filming the tricks and editing the videos is a big part of the sport. #GTramp videos are shared especially on YouTube and on Instagram.
– The popularity of Gtramping has exploded thanks to social media, Manninen says.
Manninen states in a New York Times interview that the mission of ACON is inspiring the community, taking care of safety – and having fun together. ACON also sponsors young enthusiastic GTrampers in their filming and competition trips.
