Capital Markets Day is Elisa’s investor and analyst event, being held today in London. During the day Elisa is presenting its business operations, markets and forecasts. Elisa reiterated its competitive profit distribution policy and updated its medium-term goals until the end of 2017. The company is seeking growth through investments in new services; Elisa Viihde is the most popular entertainment service in Finland, with more than 200,000 paying customers.
After a period of strong growth, Elisa Viihde now has more than 200,000 customers. Mobile use of the service in particular has increased significantly. To date, the Elisa Viihde mobile applications have been downloaded more than 450,000 times.
“Now you can enjoy Elisa Viihde anywhere, anytime. Elisa Viihde brings together diverse ways to store and view TV programmes, as well as a top-notch selection of Finnish films and sports with a pleasant and customer-friendly user experience,” says Elisa’s CEO Veli-Matti Mattila.
Elisa Viihde is available to all Finns, regardless of which service provider’s broadband they have for personal use or at home.
At the Capital Markets Day, Elisa reiterated its competitive profit distribution policy. The profit being distributed is 80–100% of the result of the previous financial period.
