The next Logistics trade fair aimed at materials handling and logistics professionals will be held in Tampere, Finland in the autumn of 2016. The industry's most significant event in Finland showcases internal logistics as well as closely related logistics and warehousing services. The Logistics trade fair was previously held at Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre in 2011 and 2013. The trade fair will be organized by Tampere Trade Fairs Ltd and the Industrial Trucks Section of the Association of Finnish Technical Traders.
“The Logistics trade fair is the most significant professional event in Finland that showcases internal logistics as well as closely related logistics and warehousing services. At the request of the participants, the next event will be held in the autumn of 2016,” says Product Group Manager Jani Maja of Tampere Trade Fairs Ltd.
“The Logistics trade fair is the number one event for materials handling and logistics professionals as it showcases a wide selection of products, services and new solutions. In addition, the event offers excellent networking opportunities and the latest information from the rapidly evolving industry. The importance of ICT solutions, energy saving issues, service outsourcing and thus competitiveness in logistics will increase and therefore this kind of specific event will continue to be in demand,” says Mika Laatikainen, Managing Director of Jungheinrich Lift Truck Oy and Chairman of the Industrial Trucks Section of the Association of Finnish Technical Traders.
“One of the aims of this trade fair is to showcase new products, which was also an important factor when we decided on the timing of the event. The next Logistics trade fair will be held in the autumn of 2016, which is when the manufacturers will also be investing in exhibition activities throughout Europe and companies will have a sufficient number of new innovations and models to present to logistics specialists,” says Director Heikki Ojanperä of the Association of Finnish Technical Traders
The previous Logistics trade fair was held in April 2013 with 124 exhibitors. The trade fair was held partly at the same time with Expomark Oy and the Finnish Maintenance Society Promaint's Industrial Services trade fair. In total, these two events brought some 5600 specialists and decision-makers to Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre. 3562 visitors signed up primarily for the Logistics trade fair.
